CLASSROOM TRANSITION
For a child to be moved to the next room, many factors are taken into consideration. Some of these factors include the child's age,
developmental progression, and availability in the next room. In some cases, input from the teachers and parents are discussed prior to the room change.
When it comes time for a child to move to a new room, parents will receive notice. The Director will give parents important information about their child's
new daily schedule, items requested to be brought, and who the child's new teacher will be. In the weeks prior to the actual room change, we will have the
child meet the new teachers, visit the room, and even participate in activities in the new room in small time increments.
When Kindergarten registrations approach, Learn-N-Play Daycare, LLC will notify pre-k families of dates. All school districts have
different kindergarten enrollment dates. Please check with your school district and discuss with management especially for children born in September.
We will provide you with information on local schools, what to expect, and ideas on how to talk to your child about going to elementary school.
